About Canadian University Dubai (CUD)

Canadian University Dubai (CUD) is a leading school that provides an education of Canadian standards in the Dubai core. CUD was founded in 2006 to offer a wide variety of undergraduate and graduate programs with different disciplines. The campus is also in a strategic location, within the busy City Walk region, which provides students with a cosmopolitan, dynamic atmosphere.

The campus has one of the best facilities with modern classrooms that have interactive teaching aids, state of the art laboratories to carry out practical learning, and research and innovation areas. In the QS World University Rankings 2025, CUD had been ranked the 1 st in Dubai, 4 th in International Faculty Worldwide, and 6 th in International Students Worldwide. Also, it was at position 21 in the Arab Region in the QS Arab Region Rankings 2024.

Canadian University Admission & Eligibility

CUD offers multiple intake options throughout the year, including Fall, Spring, and Summer semesters. Admission requirements vary by program:

• Undergraduate Programs: It requires secondary education with at least 70 per cent in the relevant subjects. The candidate must be conversant with the English language with a minimum IELTS score of 5.0 or higher.

• Graduate Degrees: A graduate degree in a program that has been accredited with a 3.0 minimum GPA on a 4.0 scale. The applicant must have knowledge of English, whereby his or her IELTS score should be 6.0 or above.

The applicants should also provide the documents of English proficiency, transcripts, and other papers during the application.
