RIT University Dubai Admission & Eligibility Criteria 

Requirement for Undergraduate Programs (UG)

• Successful 12 years of schooling from a recognized school or institution (Grade 12 / equivalent).
• Good academic performance in high school in math and science 
• Specific minimum grades depending on curriculum (e.g., UAE, British, American, Indian etc.).
• English language proficiency required: IELTS, TOEFL, or EmSAT; exemptions possible if schooling was in English medium.
• Placement tests in Math and Physics (for certain programs) to determine course level.

Requirement Post Graduate Programs (PG)

• Bachelor’s degree from any government approved institution.
• Minimum undergraduate GPA of around B grade (~3.0 / 4.0) or equivalent.
• Meet any programme‑specific prerequisites (e.g. for Engineering, same or related discipline)
• Work experience may be required (depending upon the program).
• English proficiency: IELTS, TOEFL, or EmSAT at required score. Exemptions possible if prior education in English.
