About University of Edinburgh
Established in 1582, University of Edinburgh, through a mandate from King James VI, and commenced operations in 1583. This institution is Scotland's oldest and one of the oldest in the English-speaking world. The University provides numerous programs for undergraduate and postgraduate studies. These programs are delivered through three main faculties: Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences; Science and Engineering; or Medicine and Veterinary Science.
